Asean Traveller challenge 3 to 17

Dirangkum lagi, price from phuket town to terminal 2 is 10baht.
Terminal 2 to suratthani by minibus till train station 250 baht (50 baht driver’s tip he will ask in the middle of trip not from the agency)
Train 2nd class, seat and fan is 398 baht. And it is quite comfy to sleep.
It takes 12 hours from suratthani to Hua lampong. Don’t be afraid to take shuttle bus when you arrive because there are a lot of bus and information provide. I choose bus not BTS.
My hostel is in Phiman river view, near chao praya. Samsen Soi 5, Samsen Rd. Banglampu, wat sampraya district, bangkok.

It is really primitive area, with some local wood house. And this is also a woody cozy house. In the night you can see delighted brightful bridfe with a sparkling light from the chaopraya cruise.
From Hua lampong I mistook the bus. I took number 49 but actually it should be 53. Just ask random people, because in Thailand some people are nice enough to give us free information without we ask. The bus price is 11 Baht.
Take a little walk and you’ll find people who can lead you there. It is a bit difficult to find by yourself.

After a little rest, we decide to have a tour on walk. Take a random way and we were at a small shopping area. Nice enough to window shopping. Then we see a wat. White wat, i forgot what was that, and after some walk we find out that it is located near the Grand Palace and famous Sleeping Buddha. But the Grand Palace has already closed so we choose to see Sleeping golden Buddha on foot.
Not far, nice to walk there. You can grab so many pictures to love.

Ticket to sleeping buddha is 100 baht. Include free drinking cold water in a small bottle. Nice.
Then have a walk to the grass field near you, there are a pier. With some boats to take you cross the river (to wat arun 3 baht) or touring chao praya river 15 baht (mass transportation).
To get back and tired of walking, we take bus to our hostel, which is passed the famous khaosan road. But i see nothing special there. Take the bus number 53 the price is 11 baht.
O ya, don’t forget to eat shrimp Padthai near the pier. With halal sign. Delicious food with worth 60 baht
